My Life: Sir Oswald Mosley
Oswald Mosley has been described as the greatest orator of the twentieth century. But his ability to express his ideas in a moving way were not confined to the spoken word. In this autobiography written towards the end of his life, Mosley demonstrates his considerable ability as a powerful writer as he describes his ideas and his life’s journey.
The founder of the New Party that was to become the British union of Fascists and National Socialists and the post war Union Movement Mosley was a man ahead of his time. He stood post war on a platform of “Europe a Nation” and campaigned for European nations to war together to be free of the influence of the USA and the then USSR. A major plank of his policy was to stop major immigration into Great Britain which he said was bad for both the British people and the nations that were deprived of these immigrants skills.
